Maritime Services
Ravenhill offers a variety of maritime services; transit vessel protection teams, static offshore facility protection, crew training, route analysis, 24 hour monitoring/response.
Transit Vessel Protection Teams (VPT)
Teams can be deployed both armed and unarmed while the vessel is transiting through high risk waters. Our teams will conduct crew training, deployment of ship’s passive defense measures, and conduct 24/7 anti piracy watch during the transit.
Static Offshore Facility Protection
This service is offered to the oil and gas industry to provide a flexible and layered approach encompassing: static marine facilities, supply vessel movements, security escort vessels, VPT teams, trained coxswains, and vessel hardening.
Ravenhill can coordinate with host government naval forces to provide both armed and unarmed personnel.
Crew Training
Courses are offered on location prior to vessel deployment to crews transiting through high risk waters. This will also cover actions in the event of a piracy attack.
- Deployment of passive defences
- Familiarization of pirate tactics and equipment
- Evasive manoeuvring
- Lock down drills
- Creation of a safe room – Citadel
- Actions on being boarded
Route Analysis
Ravenhill provides route analysis and up-to-date intelligence for vessels transiting hostile waters. Regular situation reports and regional updates will be provided.
24 Hour Monitoring/Response
Ravenhill field operatives are in constant communication with the Ravenhill Management Team who will in turn coordinate with outside agencies including local authorities in the event of distress or hostile actions. Each team is equipped with both satellite communications and tracking system and journey plans will be submitted for monitoring prior to vessel departure.
Teams have the ability to contact the Ravenhill on-call physician 24/7 for immediate consultation.
All our maritime operatives are fully certified ship’s security officers (SSO). All have military backgrounds and operational experience transiting through hostile waters.
